Ionic Detox Foot Bath
An ionic detox foot bath uses a machine that helps to eliminate acidic
toxins from the body's soft tissue and alkaline toxins from the blood. The
machine is placed in a tub of warm water along with the patient's feet. The
machine splits the ions in the water and forces positive and negative ions
into the feet. The ions attract the toxins in the body and the machine acts
like a magnet to pull the toxins out. The procedure is painless, effective
and safe. The treatment time is 15-30 minutes depending upon the
individual's needs. It is recommended to do a total of 14 sessions for
optimum results.
Massage
Medical massage is a manual technique that is used in a rehabilitative
therapy environment. It is not a general massage treatment like Swedish;
rather, it is a therapy applied to a specific problem area or pathology. Our
medical massage therapist uses many of the same techniques as Swedish
massage, but uses them as preliminary softening of tissue in order to get to
the deep muscle tissue, complex joint systems, and inelastic connective
tissue. Medical massage combines several manual therapies, including
Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, acupressure, neuromuscular
massage, cranio-sacral therapy, and manual lymph drainage.
Clinical Nutrition
The discipline of Human Clinical Nutrition assesses a person’s nutritional
needs to achieve normal physiological function. Assessment includes the
use of appropriate tests and observations such as case history, body type
measurements, physical signs, laboratory tests and nutrition/lifestyle
analysis to determine an educational nutrition program. Assessment also
provides the basis for referral to any other health care professional.
BRT(Body Restoration Technique)
Body Restoration Technique (BRT), unlike Hormone Replacement
Therapy (HRT), is a method of bringing the hormone system into balance
naturally. It does not involve giving a person hormones or medication. It
uses the body's acupuncture points to rejuvenate and revitalize a person's
hormones and endocrine system. With this technique we are able to help
people with stubborn weight problems, thyroid deficiencies, PMS,
menopausal, prostate, adrenal, and hormone related problems.
NAET(Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique)
NAET is a treatment to eliminate allergies, sensitivities, hypersensitivities,
intolerances and allergy and immune related disorders. Other methods
treat the symptoms from the allergic reaction in the body, whereas NAET®
focuses on the cause and correction of the allergic reaction.
NAET® desensitizes you to the allergen by finding specifically what you
are allergic to and balancing your system so that you do not continue to
have the reaction.
EAV (Computerized Electrodermal Screening Analysis)
Computerized Electrodermal Screening Analysis is a process in Biological-
Energetic/Biofeedback testing which is based on the Chinese medical
theory that improper energy flow through the acupuncture meridians
causes energy imbalances in the body. By using the energetic pathways of
your body (acupuncture meridians), CEDSA can discover current or pre-
existing conditions and their effects on your body. CEDSA is a very
respectable scientific discipline, which measures passive electrical energy,
registers the subtle energetic differences and provides feed back of these
levels, not unlike electrocardiography (EKG) and electroencephalography
(EEG.)
